I'm Weird Like That...

So, I realize that most people get "nice" clothes monogrammed.  And, I do that too...but, I tend to mongram the Target type stuff far more often...weird, I know.  But, hear me out.  So, my theory is that if it's a nice piece of clothing, then I'd love to hang onto it for another child. (Now all the grandparents are grabbing their phones to call and see if we have big news.  I assure you, we don't.  And probably won't for a long time.  Maybe never.  Can you tell the kiddos are wearing me out this week?  But, I digress.)

Anyhow, I love finding inexpensive clothing for my kids to monogram and give it a little something extra.  Take this dress for example.  It's perfect for Spring, and will look really cute with some white leggings under it.

So, how much, you say??
Seven smakaroos.
Thats right, $7.
From Walmart.
And, at that price, she can spill on it and fall in the dirt in it, and do whatever else two year olds do to ruin their clothes, and I won't have a heart attack.  I'll just sit back and relax and take comfort in the fact that my Little English jumper is safe and sound and ready for some other little one.  Maybe.  :)

So, run out to Walmart and grab your dress!

Like the Blog??

I surely do! My talented friend Rachel designed it for me, and I'm so thrilled with the results.  You can see her blog design business, Uniquely Yours, here. I would also highly recommend her personal blog, Moments with my Miracles.  Rachel is honest and real, and I always find great encouragement at her blog - her adorable three kids make the blog fun too!  So, if are wanted to make your blog more personal, head on over and let Rachel help you out- she's even running a special between now and March 10.  These are some shirts I did for her daughters.  I was so happy with how the watermelon turned out!

FORE!

I'm pretty sure this is going to be one of my favorite designs for the Spring and Summer.  It's obviously so cute for a little boy, but I'm picturing the flag and name in pink looking preeetty cute for the little miss in your life too!

Flower Power

Here's a shirt I made for my daughter to match a little twirly skirt I made for her.  I'm toying with the idea of taking a limited number of orders for shorts or skirts to match the shirts you are ordering...if this is something you'd be interested in, let me know!

Gift Tote

Here are the pictures from the gift basket I was telling you about.  Anne is one of those fun (and trusting!) people who basically said, "Here's my stuff!  Do whatever you want!"  I love that!  The second I saw the picture frame she was going to put in the tote, I knew exactly what fabric I wanted to use.  I think it turned out great, and I hope little Sam (and, let's be honest here, his mommy) will love it.

What's in a Name?

I'm loving all the kids items you can get with your child's name on it these days!  Clothing is no exception, and I'm having a blast embroidering names on everything from tote bags to t-shirts.  I recently received an order for a personalized market tote, a t-shirt, and a lovey.  Anne is filling the market tote will all sorts of personalized goodies for a friend who's having a baby - what a great idea!  When I finish the project later this week, I will certainly post pictures, but for now, here's one I did for my own little stinker.

Summer, Summer, Summer-time!

Ok, so the post title doesn't quite work for mid-February, but a girl can dream, right?  I don't know about you, but I am Over the snow with a capital "O."  So, it was nice to dream about the summer while I was embroidering these beach towels for Rhonda.  And, I was thinking that these would make such a great birthday present for the little person in your life.  Save a mom's den from toy-clutter and give her child something they will use again and again. :)  Here's to some warm weather in the coming months!

Sibling Shirts

Allison had me make these shirts for her kids to wear on Spring Break.  I love finding fonts and colors that work for both boys and girls!  I laughed when she said she was going to hide them until then so that her kids wouldn't spill anything on them between now and Spring Break...hope the pictures turn out great, Allison!
